In one performance, international singer, pianist and composer Tanya Melamed from Chicago will take her audience on a "journey around the world" through multiple music genres, languages and ethnicities. The program is a musical kaleidoscope where French chanson quickly swirls to Argentine and Polish tango, Russian and Gypsy romances, Italian, Klezmer and Sephardic songs, Tanya's original compositions based on Russian poetry by Anna Akhmatova, Marina Tsvetaeva and Alexandr Blok, Iosif Brodsky accompanied by virtuoso violinist Alex Koffman.
