Tanya Melamed - International pianist, composer and multilingual singer.

Graduated from Odessa Conservatory of Music with Masters Degree in classical and jazz piano.

Upon arrival to the United States, Tanya has won popularity as a solo pianist and singer that presents concerts and shows around Chicagoland, as well as nationally and internationally.

Tanya collaborated with the numerous international musicians, which resulted in the production of her four CDs. Among those ensembles were Eyes Manouche (Balkanband), Guitarra Azul (octet of virtuosic Latino style musicians), and the Maxwell Street Klezmer Band - just to name a few.

Tanya Melamed  is the founder and the lead singer of the “Melamed Band”, which has performed concerts, private and corporate events throughout the United States for the last 17 years.

In one performance chanteuse Tanya Melamed  takes her audience on a "journey around the world" through multiple music genres, languages and ethnicities.

Her unique shows are a musical kaleidoscope where French chanson quickly swirls to Argentine and Polish tango, Russian and Gypsy romances, Italian, Klezmer and Sephardic songs, Tanya's original compositions based on Russian poetry by Anna Akhmatova, Marina Tsvetaeva and Alexandr Blok, Josif Brodsky etc..

Tanya's deep and sensual voice, charming style performances and eclectic repertoire of international songs in nearly 12 languages   guarantees to be a delight for the audience of all ethnical backgrounds and ages.
